The latest Honkai: Star Rail Special Program has officially concluded, giving Trailblazers their first full look at Version 4.7, titled “Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars.” The upcoming update is shaping up to be a major milestone for the game, bringing the Planarcadia storyline toward its conclusion while finally introducing one of its most mysterious figures as a playable character.

The biggest announcement is undoubtedly Aha, the Aeon of Elation, making their playable debut as a five-star Quantum character following the Path of Elation. However, the livestream had plenty more to share, including the arrival of the Starfroster area, a new character progression system called Affinitive Eidolon, returning characters, new events, and substantial free rewards.

Version 4.7 is scheduled to launch on November 11, 2026, giving players plenty to look forward to as the story approaches its next major turning point.

Aha Finally Becomes Playable

After playing an important role throughout the Planarcadia storyline, Aha, the Aeon of Elation, will finally join the playable roster.

Aha is a five-star Quantum character following the Path of Elation. As the creator of the Phantasmoon Games, the Aeon has spent countless years observing the universe through performances, jokes, and spectacles. Now, with the threat of the Voracity approaching, Aha is preparing to take center stage personally.

Aha’s combat mechanics are particularly interesting because they are designed to strengthen other Elation characters. Their presence allows the Path of Elation to ascend, unlocking unique combat abilities for Elation teammates.

Aha also introduces a new mechanic called Aha Instant, which can fast-forward the performances of Elation Skills. During combat, the entire team continuously accumulates Wishpower. Once the resource is full, Aha can unleash their Ultimate, dealing Elation DMG to all enemies.

The Aeon’s authority also allows allied attacks to directly reduce enemy Max HP, making Aha an especially unusual addition to the game’s combat system. Rather than functioning as a conventional support or damage dealer, Aha appears designed to elevate an entire Elation lineup.

The Final Phantasmoon Games Begin

Version 4.7 will continue the conflict surrounding the awakening of the Voracity, a powerful leviathan that has remained sealed for more than a thousand Amber Eras.

The creature has been contained through Aha’s Phantasmoon Games, but the seal is now weakening. To prevent the Voracity from regaining its strength and consuming the universe, Aha organizes one final spectacle known as the Final Phantasmoon Games.

Eight Supplicants will be summoned to participate in this enormous performance, with the Starfroster serving as the central stage. The Starfroster is described as a cake-like vessel that will travel across the sea of stars, helping lure the Voracity into the final confrontation.

This storyline will bring the Planarcadia arc toward its conclusion, placing Aha and the Trailblazer at the center of a conflict with potentially universe-wide consequences.

New Area: Starfroster

One of the most visually distinctive additions coming in Version 4.7 is Starfroster, a new area that takes inspiration from colorful amusement parks and carnival attractions.

The location features dessert-themed structures, rollercoaster tracks, vibrant decorations, and fireworks. At its center is a massive cake-like structure overlooking the surrounding attractions.

While the setting initially looks cheerful and playful, it serves a much greater purpose in the upcoming story. Starfroster will act as the stage for the Final Phantasmoon Games, bringing the Trailblazer closer to the confrontation with the Voracity.

The contrast between its colorful appearance and the seriousness of the situation is fitting for an update centered around Aha and the Path of Elation.

Version 4.7 Banner Schedule

Aha will be the major new character arriving in Version 4.7, while several popular characters will also return through rerun banners.

The first half of the update features Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, and Yao Guang, giving players another opportunity to obtain characters associated with the Elation playstyle. Aha also makes their debut during this update.

The second half will feature reruns for Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan. These characters are particularly notable because they will also be among the first to receive the new Affinitive Eidolon enhancements.

The returning characters give players several options, whether they want to invest in the newer Elation mechanics or strengthen characters they already have.

Affinitive Eidolon Introduces a New Character Enhancement System

One of the most important announcements outside of Aha was the introduction of Affinitive Eidolon, a new character growth system.

This system allows selected characters to unlock additional abilities, unique animations, and character-themed illustrations. It provides another way to improve existing characters without relying exclusively on traditional Eidolon upgrades.

Three characters will receive Affinitive Eidolon enhancements in Version 4.7:

• Acheron
• Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae
• Jing Yuan

Each character will receive exclusive combat improvements intended to strengthen their existing kits and give players additional reasons to revisit them.

The best part is that HoYoverse is making the system accessible immediately. Players will be able to claim one Affinitive Eidolon of their choice for free during Version 4.7.

A Huge Set of Free Rewards for Trailblazers

Version 4.7 is also bringing a substantial collection of login rewards through the Grab Your Opening Gifts event.

Players who participate will be able to obtain:

• 20 Star Rail Special Passes
• One selected five-star character from Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan
• One Affinitive Eidolon for one of those three characters
• A Golden Companion Spirit
• A custom five-star Relic selection item
• The new Trailblazer outfit, Yellow-Purple Style
• The Elation Proxy headwear cosmetic
• Additional special items

This is particularly exciting because the character selector and Affinitive Eidolon give players an opportunity to strengthen their account without spending Stellar Jade.

For newer players, the free five-star selection could provide a useful addition to their roster. Meanwhile, longtime players can use the opportunity to obtain a character they missed or further improve one they already own.

New Outfit for Aha: Star Lotto

Aha is also receiving a special outfit called Star Lotto, which will be available through the new Phantasia Showstage outfit draw event.

The event allows players to participate in a themed draw for Aha’s new appearance and additional cosmetic rewards. The first draw is free, while subsequent draws require Fashion Invites, with the cost increasing as players continue.

Other rewards include the Phantasmoon Star Rail back fashion item, the Euphoria Time namecard, and the Cosmic Lotto chat box.

The outfit event is scheduled to run from November 11 through December 23, 2026.

Two New Light Cones

Version 4.7 will introduce two new Light Cones.

The first is Upon the First Echo of Aha, Aha’s signature five-star Light Cone. It will be available through the Brilliant Fixation Light Cone banner alongside the character’s debut.

The second is See You at the World’s End!, a new four-star Light Cone that players can obtain by completing the Version 4.7 Trailblaze Mission.

The free four-star Light Cone is a welcome addition for players who want to experiment with the update’s new mechanics without needing to rely entirely on the limited Light Cone banner.

New Planar Ornament Sets

Two new Planar Ornament sets will be introduced through Divergent Universe.

God’s Moment of Joy provides a Speed increase. When the wearer reaches at least 40% Elation, they also receive an immediate action advance upon entering combat.

This set is clearly designed with Elation characters in mind, making it particularly relevant for players preparing Aha and other Elation teammates.

The second set is Subspace ASC Center. It also provides a Speed increase, but its additional effect activates when the wearer reaches at least 145 Speed, increasing the Break Effect of all allies after entering combat.

These additions offer more build options for players who want to optimize their teams around the newer combat mechanics.

New Events and Gameplay

Version 4.7 will bring several new activities alongside the main story.

The first major event is The Fluffy Movie: Overheated, where players will help Aha operate a dessert shop and earn Gold Coins. It offers a lighter experience compared with the update’s larger storyline, while giving players additional rewards.

Another event, Interastral Peace Gala: Road to Fame, introduces a combat-focused challenge where players will face enemies across multiple stages.

The permanent gameplay mode Currency Wars will also receive its second season, titled Voyage Into the Canvas. The new season will bring a larger update to the mode and additional rewards.

Players will also be able to participate in the Phantasia Showstage outfit draw event, while the Relic Recon event will return with opportunities to obtain upgraded five-star Relics.

Stellar Convergence Store Updates

The Stellar Convergence Store will receive new additions during Version 4.7.

Among the notable additions are Jiaoqiu and his signature Light Cone, Those Many Springs. Both will become available through the store’s updated selection.

Players logging in during the update will also receive a Golden Companion Spirit as part of the Version 4.7 login rewards.

For players who have been saving their store currency, this could be a good opportunity to consider whether Jiaoqiu or his Light Cone would benefit their existing teams.

New Echo of War Stage

The update will introduce a new stage to Echo of War, bringing a new Trace material called Ravenous Baby Tooth.

This material will be used to upgrade character Traces, making the new activity particularly important for players preparing Aha or other characters who may need the new material.

The addition also connects directly to the story’s growing threat, with the Voracity becoming a central part of the upcoming update.

Version 4.7 Livestream Codes

As usual, the Special Program included three redemption codes offering Stellar Jade and additional upgrade materials.

Aha’s playable debut is easily one of the biggest talking points coming out of the livestream. The Aeon has been an important presence in the Planarcadia storyline, so giving players the opportunity to use Aha directly is a major moment for the game’s narrative and combat.

The new Affinitive Eidolon system is another announcement worth watching.
