Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 is giving Proxies a unique opportunity. Alongside the debut of new S-Rank Agents Remielle and Sigrid, the update brings back three highly desirable characters: Dialyn, Yuzuha, and Asaba Harumasa.

Rather than receiving three separate standard rerun banners, Version 3.1 introduced the Exclusive Rescreening Signal Search, allowing players to choose which of the three Agents they want as their featured S-Rank. Their corresponding W-Engines can also be selected through the W-Engine Rescreening channel.

That creates an important question for anyone trying to conserve Polychromes:

Which of these three reruns is actually worth pulling for?

Let’s break down each Agent, what they bring to an account, who they work with, and who should consider spending their pulls.

What Is the Exclusive Rescreening Signal Search?

Version 3.1’s rerun system is different from the normal Exclusive Signal Search.

Players can choose Dialyn, Yuzuha, or Harumasa as their designated S-Rank rate-up Agent. You can make the same kind of selection for their signature W-Engines.

The system also includes a 20% discount on the first 10 pulls for both the Agent and W-Engine channels. Most importantly, progress toward the guaranteed S-Rank carries forward between future Exclusive Rescreening events. That makes this a particularly interesting opportunity for players who missed an older character.

But these three Agents serve very different purposes.

Dialyn: One of the Best Stun Agents to Pull

Role: Stun

Dialyn is arguably the most universally valuable character among the three reruns.

She’s an S-Rank Physical Stun Agent whose kit revolves around rapidly building Daze, extending Stun windows, and providing powerful buffs. Her most distinctive mechanic allows her to convert other characters’ Chain Attacks into additional Ultimates. That last mechanic gives her an unusually high ceiling.

Instead of simply stunning an enemy and swapping to your DPS, Dialyn can help create longer and more explosive burst windows.

Why Dialyn is so good

Dialyn brings several things to a team:

  • Extremely high Daze generation
  • Extended Stun duration
  • Strong team buffs
  • Chain Attack to Ultimate conversion
  • Excellent synergy with Attack Agents
  • Access to powerful burst rotations

Prydwen currently rates her T0 for endgame content, specifically highlighting her Ultimate conversion mechanic, Stun extension, and high Daze output.

Who Wants Dialyn?

Dialyn is particularly good with Attack and Rupture Agents who have powerful Ultimates.

She works well with characters including:

  • Ye Shunguang
  • Yixuan
  • Banyue
  • Hugo
  • Yidhari
  • Evelyn
  • Any other Attack/Rupture units

This makes Dialyn a surprisingly future-proof investment.

Yuzuha: An Extremely Flexible Support

Role: Support

Ukinami Yuzuha is an S-Rank Physical Support Agent from Spook Shack.

Unlike Dialyn, Yuzuha isn’t primarily concerned with stunning enemies. Her job is to make everyone else stronger.

And she does that extremely well.

Prydwen currently rates Yuzuha T0 for endgame content, noting that she provides some of the strongest buffs available to Anomaly Agents while remaining highly useful outside Anomaly teams.

What Makes Yuzuha Special?

Yuzuha’s biggest strength is versatility.

She can provide:

  • ATK buffs
  • DMG buffs
  • Anomaly-focused buffs
  • Energy restoration
  • Off-field damage
  • Daze contribution
  • Easy rotations
  • Very low field-time requirements

She can therefore slot into an enormous number of teams.

Prydwen specifically notes that Yuzuha isn’t limited to Anomaly compositions and is often the second-best general Support option behind Astra Yao.

Yuzuha and Anomaly Teams

Yuzuha’s greatest specialty is supporting Anomaly Agents.

If your account revolves around characters who trigger Disorder and other Anomaly effects, Yuzuha becomes particularly valuable.

She can provide the specialized buffs those teams need while still contributing her own damage and utility.

That makes her a particularly strong investment for players who enjoy:

  • Alice
  • Burnice
  • Jane Doe
  • Yanagi
  • Miyabi
  • Other Anomaly-focused teams

Harumasa: A Powerful but Technical DPS

Role: Attack / Main DPS

Asaba Harumasa is the most different of the three.

He’s an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent from Section 6 who specializes in high-damage burst during enemy Stun windows.

Unlike Yuzuha and Dialyn, Harumasa isn’t a universal support character.

He’s a main DPS.

And he’s a particularly demanding one.

Harumasa’s Biggest Strength

Harumasa has an extremely high damage ceiling.

His kit revolves around setting up Quivers, exploiting Anomaly interactions, and unleashing powerful attacks during Stun windows. When everything comes together, his burst damage can be extremely impressive.

Prydwen currently describes him as a high-skill-ceiling character who rewards strong execution and route planning.

The Problem With Harumasa

Harumasa isn’t particularly beginner-friendly.

His biggest downside is execution.

You need to understand:

  • Quiver management
  • Enemy positioning
  • Stun timing
  • Anomaly alignment
  • Dash Attack routing
  • Pre-stacking
  • Proper burst sequencing

Prydwen specifically notes that his skill floor can be unforgiving and that pre-stacking Quivers can be tedious. So while Harumasa can be extremely strong, he isn’t necessarily the easiest DPS to pick up.

Harumasa’s Best Partners

This is where Dialyn becomes especially interesting.

Harumasa + Dialyn is a powerful pairing.

Dialyn’s ability to extend Stun windows and facilitate additional Ultimate usage works exceptionally well with Harumasa’s burst-oriented playstyle.

Other useful partners include:

  • Qingyi
  • Trigger
  • Anby
  • Yuzuha
  • Astra Yao
  • Nicole
  • Rina
  • Seed
  • Sunna

Prydwen specifically highlights Dialyn, Qingyi, Trigger, Yuzuha, Astra Yao, Nicole, Rina, Seed, and Sunna as notable synergies.

Harumasa Is Also Free

One of the biggest factors when considering Harumasa is that he was previously given away for free.

That changes the value proposition considerably.

If you already have Harumasa, obviously don’t spend Polychromes to obtain another copy unless you’re specifically pursuing his Potential upgrades.

If you somehow missed him or want additional investment, the rerun gives you another opportunity.

Who Should You Pull First?

1. You Need a Support

Pull Yuzuha

If your account lacks Astra Yao or another premium Support, Yuzuha is an excellent investment. Her flexibility means you’ll probably find uses for her across multiple teams.

2. You Need a Stun Agent

Pull Dialyn

If your account’s biggest weakness is Stun, Dialyn is the obvious choice. Her Daze generation, Stun extension, and buffs make her an excellent addition to Attack-focused teams.

3. You Need an Electric DPS

Pull Harumasa

If you specifically want an Electric Attack character and enjoy technical gameplay, Harumasa is still worth considering. Just understand that his performance depends more heavily on player execution than the other two.

What About Their Signature W-Engines?

The rerun system also allows players to select the corresponding W-Engine.

However, for most free-to-play and low-spending players, I would prioritize getting the Agent before their signature W-Engine. The exception is when you already have a highly developed roster and are specifically looking to maximize a character you use constantly.

Yuzuha is particularly friendly to players who don’t own her signature W-Engine, with Prydwen noting that she performs close to full potential with F2P-friendly alternatives.

Dialyn, by comparison, has a stronger dependence on her signature for optimizing certain high-end routes.

Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 3.1 rerun lineup gives Proxies a rare opportunity to choose between three very different S-Rank Agents.

Yuzuha offers some of the best Support value in the game, Dialyn can dramatically improve Stun-based burst teams, and Harumasa remains a powerful Electric DPS for players willing to master his demanding mechanics. Current endgame evaluations place both Dialyn and Yuzuha at T0, while Harumasa remains a high-ceiling DPS with a much steeper learning curve. Ultimately, the best pull isn’t necessarily the character with the highest tier-list ranking. It’s the character who fills the biggest hole in your account.
