Genshin Impact Version 7.0 has introduced Snezhnaya and a new mechanic in the form of Stellar reactions, and one of the most useful characters for the new system is Alyosha. The 4-Star Electro Polearm user is primarily a Stellar-Conduct support and healer, making him an especially valuable partner for characters such as Sandrone and Odette.
Alyosha is also unusually accessible because he is available for free during the Snezhnaya update. That makes him one of the easiest characters for players to add to a Stellar-Conduct team without spending Primogems.
Here’s how to build him.
Alyosha Overview
Rarity: 4-Star
Element: Electro
Weapon: Polearm
Primary Role: Stellar-Conduct Support / Healer
Best Use: Off-field support
Alyosha’s kit revolves around his Hunting Mark, his companion Tugarin, and his Elemental Burst.
His Burst summons Tugarin and creates an area that taunts enemies. Tugarin then attacks marked enemies, while Alyosha’s kit provides healing and support for the rest of the party.
The most important thing to understand is that Alyosha isn’t primarily a damage dealer. His Burst uptime is much more important than maximizing his personal damage. That means Energy Recharge should be your first major stat priority.
Best Weapon for Alyosha
Frostbreath
Frostbreath is Alyosha’s best weapon when he’s being used in a Stellar-Conduct composition. The Snezhnaya craftable Polearm is specifically useful in Stellar-focused teams, making it particularly well suited to Alyosha’s intended role.
The important catch is that you want Alyosha to actually participate in triggering the relevant Stellar-Conduct effects so the weapon’s team benefits can be utilized. For a dedicated Stellar-Conduct team, Frostbreath is the weapon to aim for.
Favonius Lance
If you aren’t using Frostbreath, Favonius Lance is arguably the safest general-purpose option.Its Energy Recharge and particle generation help Alyosha get his Burst back more consistently, which is exactly what a support-focused build wants.
This is particularly useful if your artifacts don’t provide enough Energy Recharge.
Other Weapon Options
Several other Energy-focused weapons can work:
- Engulfing Lightning
- Skyward Spine
- Symphonist of Scents
- Tamayuratei no Ohanashi
However, there’s little reason to spend a premium 5-Star weapon on Alyosha unless you already have one available.
For most players:
Frostbreath > Favonius Lance > other ER options
Best Artifact Set
4-Piece Noblesse Oblige
For a support Alyosha, Noblesse Oblige is the safest overall artifact set.
The set increases Elemental Burst damage and, more importantly, provides an ATK buff to the entire party after Alyosha uses his Burst. That’s exactly what you want from a support character. Alyosha activates his Burst, provides his utility, and then allows your primary DPS to take advantage of the teamwide buff.
4-Piece Heart of the Furnace
Heart of the Furnace is another option for Stellar-Conduct teams.
However, there is an important team-building consideration here.
If another character on your team is already using Heart of the Furnace, you generally don’t want Alyosha running a second copy simply to duplicate the team effect. Community testing and current build recommendations instead favor using Noblesse Oblige on Alyosha while another member handles Heart of the Furnace.

This gives the team access to both sets’ benefits without unnecessarily overlapping their effects.

Because Alyosha’s support capabilities don’t require enormous personal damage investment, his artifact setup is relatively straightforward.

CRIT Rate
Crit Rate is particularly useful when using Favonius Lance because it makes generating additional particles more consistent. If you’re not using Favonius, you have more freedom with your Circlet depending on your personal build.
Substat Priority
Prioritize your substats approximately as follows:
Energy Recharge > CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK%
The most important part is reaching enough ER to consistently use Alyosha’s Burst whenever your rotation comes back around. Don’t sacrifice Burst consistency just to gain a few percentage points of ATK. For a support Alyosha, having his Burst available on time is considerably more valuable.
Talent Priority
Alyosha’s Elemental Burst is the most important part of his kit.
Recommended priority:
Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill > Normal Attack
His Burst summons Tugarin and establishes much of his team’s utility, making it the obvious first investment.
His Skill is next because it helps apply and interact with Hunting Mark.
Normal Attacks can be left at a low level if you’re using him primarily as an off-field support.
Tugarin Is the Key to His Support Gameplay
Tugarin isn’t just a cosmetic companion.
Alyosha’s Burst summons Tugarin to attack enemies inside his Burst’s area. His passive abilities also allow Tugarin’s attacks to contribute to Alyosha’s healing utility.
That means your basic Alyosha rotation is largely about:
- Applying Hunting Mark.
- Using Alyosha’s Burst.
- Allowing Tugarin to attack.
- Keeping Alyosha’s buffs and healing active.
- Switching back to your primary DPS.
Best Alyosha Teams
Alyosha is at his best in Stellar-Conduct teams.
The strongest teams generally combine him with characters who can consistently take advantage of the new reaction system.
Team 1: Sandrone + Odette + Yae Miko + Alyosha
Sandrone

Odette
Cryo off-field support and Stellar reaction enabler
Yae Miko
Electro sub-DPS
Alyosha
Healer and Stellar-Conduct support
This is arguably the most natural Alyosha team. Current build guides specifically identify Sandrone + Odette + Yae Miko + Alyosha as one of his strongest compositions. Odette and Yae Miko provide the elemental foundation for Stellar-Conduct, while Sandrone handles the primary damage. Alyosha provides healing and additional Stellar-Conduct support.
Team 2: Sandrone + Odette + Escoffier + Alyosha
If you don’t have Yae Miko, Escoffier can fill the third slot.

Sandrone + Odette + Escoffier + Alyosha
This composition retains the Sandrone and Odette core while replacing Yae Miko with another support/sub-DPS option. It’s specifically listed among current Alyosha team recommendations.
Team 3: Cryo Traveler + Odette + Yae Miko + Alyosha
Don’t have Sandrone?
The Cryo Traveler can serve as your primary Cryo damage dealer in a Stellar-Conduct setup.

Current guides recommend this composition as another Stellar-Conduct option.The Traveler can provide additional Cryo application while Odette and Yae Miko maintain the team’s reaction setup.
Team 4: Cyno + Odette + Yae Miko + Alyosha
Alyosha can also work with Cyno.

Cyno + Odette + Yae Miko + Alyosha
Cyno acts as the on-field DPS while Odette and Yae Miko help create the conditions for Stellar-Conduct. Alyosha then provides healing and additional team utility. This gives older Electro DPS characters another way to interact with Version 7.0’s new reaction mechanics.
What About Wriothesley?
Wriothesley might look like an obvious partner for Alyosha because of his Cryo element, but there is an important problem: Alyosha’s healing can interfere with Wriothesley’s HP-management mechanics.
Wriothesley benefits from carefully managing his HP, so constantly restoring his health can make his rotations less convenient. Current team recommendations therefore generally favor other characters for Wriothesley-based Stellar-Conduct teams.This is a good example of why simply matching elements isn’t enough when building a team.
Alyosha’s Constellations
Alyosha is already useful without requiring high Constellation investment, but his Constellations can significantly improve his performance.

Helps restore Energy when the team triggers Electro reactions, making his Burst easier to maintain.
C2
Extends Tugarin’s duration and improves the way his Hunting Mark interactions work.
C4
Adds additional healing utility.
C6
This is the major investment point. C6 allows Hunting Mark to stack twice, with the additional effect providing the team with 100 Elemental Mastery when the conditions are met.
Should You Build Alyosha?
Yes, especially if you’re playing Stellar-Conduct.
There are several reasons Alyosha is worth building:
- He’s a 4-Star character
- He’s available for free
- He provides healing
- He provides team buffs
- He works well with Stellar-Conduct
- He pairs naturally with Odette
- He can support Sandrone
- His best weapon can be obtained without relying on a 5-Star weapon
His biggest limitation is that his value is heavily tied to the new Stellar-Conduct ecosystem. If you aren’t using a Stellar-Conduct team, there are situations where characters such as Fischl, Bennett, or other established supports may offer more useful general-purpose utility.
