The Genshin Impact Luna IV special livestream aired recently, bringing fans a comprehensive first look at Version 6.3 content, banners, livestream codes, and exciting future teases directly from Hoyoverse’s official broadcast. This program set the stage for one of the biggest updates yet to hit the Nod-Krai storyline in Genshin Impact.

When and Where the Livestream Happened

The Luna IV special program was broadcast on January 2, 2026, via the official Genshin Impact channels on YouTube and Twitch, giving players a live look at all the upcoming Version 6.3 changes.

Viewers could tune in to see the developers break down key updates including new characters, banners, events, redeem codes, and more. The livestream also served as a platform to hype up the upcoming release, which is scheduled for January 14, 2026.

Redeem Codes and Free Primogem Drops

As has become tradition with Genshin Impact livestreams, players were given redeem codes during the broadcast that offer free Primogems and other useful resources. The confirmed codes from the Luna IV stream include:

  • ComeNightorDay – 100 Primogems and 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore
  • Zibai0515 – 100 Primogems and five Hero’s Wit
  • GallopYeah – 100 Primogems and 50,000 Mora

These codes are usually time-limited and must be redeemed within days of the livestream airing, so players are encouraged to redeem them sooner rather than later.

New Characters and Banner Details

One of the major highlights of the livestream was the banner and character lineup for Version Luna IV (6.3). According to the revealed schedule and banner breakdown:

  • Phase 1 (January 14 to February 3, 2026) features the debut of Columbina along with a rerun of Ineffa.
  • Phase 2 (February 3 to February 24, 2026) will include Zibai, Illuga, and a rerun of Neuvillette.

Columbina, formerly a Harbinger and a central figure in the Song of the Welkin Moon arc, finally becomes playable in Phase 1, while Zibai and Illuga expand the roster in Phase 2.

What Else Was Revealed

Beyond characters and banners, the livestream highlighted that Luna IV will introduce new artifacts and expanded story elements tied to the evolving Nod-Krai arc.

Two new artifact sets will be added in the upcoming update:

  • Aubade of Morningstar and Moon – Boosts Elemental Mastery and significantly increases Lunar Reaction Damage when off-field and at higher Moonsign levels.
  • A Day Carved From Rising Winds – Provides ATK and, when certain conditions are met, additional Crit Rate and ATK buffs even when the wearer is off-field.

These artifact sets are designed to give players new optimization options for Lunar reactions and Hexerei team builds as Genshin Impact continues to expand its roster and mechanics.

Future Teases and Long-Term Plans

The livestream also included teasers for future content beyond Luna IV. Silhouettes of potential characters set to release in 2026 were shown, leading to speculation around names such as Lohen, Varka, Nicole, and possibly Sandrone. While these have not been officially confirmed, they signal that demain content planning is well underway.
