On August 16, 2025, Kuro Games hosted a special livestream for Wuthering Waves Version 2.6, titled “By Sun’s Scourge, By Moon’s Revelation”. The broadcast unveiled exciting new content, including characters, events, and gameplay features, set to launch on August 28, 2025.

New Characters and Banners

Version 2.6 introduces two new 5-star Resonators:

• Augusta: An Electro Broadblade character with a focus on aggressive melee combat.
• Iuno: An Aero Gauntlet character specializing in ranged attacks and crowd control.

Augusta’s banner, Eternal Radiance on the Crown, will be available during the first phase of the update, releasing on August 28. The second phase will feature Iuno’s banner, Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes, along with a rerun of Ciaccona’s banner, Through Verses and Rhythms.

New Location: Sanguis Plateaus

The update adds the Sanguis Plateaus, a previously unexplorable area in the Septimont region. This new zone offers fresh challenges and opportunities for exploration, enhancing the game’s open-world experience.

New Tactical Hologram Challenge

Players can now engage in the Tactical Hologram: Lady of the Sea challenge, testing their combat skills against formidable foes in a simulated environment.

Livestream Redemption Codes

During the livestream, Kuro Games provided the following redemption codes, offering valuable in-game resources:

• BURNINGSUN: 100 Astrite, 4 Premium Resonance Potions, 5 Advanced Energy Cores
• MOONLIGHT: 100 Astrite, 2 Forgery Premium Supplies, 40,000 Shell Credits
• FACETHEFATE: 100 Astrite, 20 Premium Tuners, 5 Advanced Sealed Tubes

Release Schedule
