If you’re looking for a top-tier support character in Wuthering Waves, Shorekeeper is your go-to. As a 5★ Spectro Rectifier user, she excels in healing, buffing, and providing continuous support to her team. With the right build, she can significantly enhance your team’s performance.
Also, I have to admit—I’m a little biased. I absolutely love Shorekeeper’s design. Her aesthetic feels so clean and elegant, and since blue is my favorite color, she immediately caught my eye. I don’t have her yet, but you can bet I’ve been keeping an eye on builds and team comps so I’m ready the second I pull her.
Understanding Shorekeeper’s Role
Shorekeeper is designed to be a universal support character. Her abilities provide continuous healing and buffs to the team, making her invaluable in various team compositions. She shines when built with high Energy Regeneration and HP stats, ensuring her skills are always ready when needed.
Echo Sets – Rejuvenating Glow vs. Moonlit Clouds
When it comes to building Shorekeeper, your best bet is to focus on Echo sets that boost her healing output and help her cycle through her skills faster. Since she’s a dedicated support, you want to make sure she’s always ready to throw out her buffs and heals when your team needs it.
Rejuvenating Glow (5-piece)
This is hands-down the best Echo set for Shorekeeper if you want to maximize her healing capabilities. The 2-piece bonus gives a solid HP% boost, which directly scales with her healing. But it’s the 5-piece effect that really makes it shine: whenever Shorekeeper casts her Outro Skill or a Resonance Liberation, she heals the whole team based on her max HP. It’s a super reliable way to keep your squad topped off, especially in longer fights or Spiral Tower content where chip damage adds up.
I’m currently working toward a full 5-piece set myself as a free-to-play player, and yeah—it’s a grind. But it’s so worth it when you start seeing those chunky team-wide heals go off like clockwork.
Moonlit Clouds (5-piece)
If you’re looking to lean more into buffing your main DPS instead of just healing, Moonlit Clouds is a great alternative. The 2-piece gives Energy Regeneration (which Shorekeeper loves), and the 5-piece lets her boost the ATK of the next character you switch to after she casts her Outro Skill. This makes her perfect for hypercarry-style teams—especially if you’re pairing her with someone like Jiyan, Yinlin, or Spectro Rover who can capitalize on that sudden ATK bump.
If you’re still farming and can’t yet commit to a full 5-piece set, a solid hybrid like 2-piece Moonlit Clouds + 2-piece Rejuvenating Glow is a nice temporary build. You’ll still get some extra HP and Energy Regen, which lets Shorekeeper do her thing more frequently.
Substats to look for:
- HP% (top priority)
- Energy Regeneration
- Flat HP
- Healing Bonus (on the main stat if possible)
Best Weapons for Shorekeeper – Sustain, Not Style
Since Shorekeeper isn’t meant to be your frontline damage dealer, you’re not looking for flashy crit-stacking weapons here. Instead, the best Rectifiers for her focus on Energy Regeneration, HP%, or healing utility so she can constantly cycle her skills and keep the team alive. Let’s break down the best options for both whales and free-to-plays (like me):
5★: Stellar Symphony
This is Shorekeeper’s signature weapon, and it’s pretty much perfect for her kit. It gives her Energy Regeneration and a buff to her Outro Skill and Resonance Liberation, which are her bread and butter. The passive boosts her Healing Bonus and max HP based on how much Energy she regenerates, so you’re basically getting rewarded for doing what she’s built to do. If you somehow pulled this—congrats. This Rectifier is tailor-made to turn Shorekeeper into a healing and buffing machine.
4★: Variation
This is the best 4-star alternative for her right now. It still gives you solid Energy Regeneration, and the passive helps build Concerto Energy faster when using Outro Skills—which means more frequent ult rotations and smoother team synergy. It’s especially useful in teams where you’re rotating a lot, like quickswap comps.
4★: Rectifier of Voyager
If you’re F2P or just started playing and don’t have much to choose from, Rectifier of Voyager is a decent and reliable option. It has Energy Regeneration and is fairly easy to obtain and refine. It’s not going to push Shorekeeper to her full potential, but it gets the job done while you’re farming up better gear. I’m personally using this while grinding for Stellar Symphony and honestly? It holds up surprisingly well.
Weapon Substat Priorities:
- Energy Regeneration is the most important, period.
- HP% or Healing Bonus is great, but only if you already have Energy Regen covered.
Best Teams for Shorekeeper – Who Needs a Medic?
Shorekeeper is one of those characters that just fits into a lot of team comps. She’s not trying to steal the spotlight—she just wants to keep your damage dealers alive and supercharged. Her kit makes her especially valuable in sustain-heavy or buff-support teams, and she pairs really well with characters who rely on frequent skill uptime.
Here are some strong team setups I’ve either tried or seen floating around the community:
Best Teams for Shorekeeper
Shorekeeper’s versatility as a healer and buffer allows her to seamlessly integrate into numerous team compositions. Her ability to provide continuous healing and buffs makes her an invaluable asset in both hypercarry and quickswap teams.
Hypercarry Teams
In hypercarry setups, Shorekeeper supports a primary damage dealer, ensuring their sustainability and enhancing their damage output.
- Jiyan + Mortefi + Shorekeeper: This team capitalizes on Jiyan’s high damage potential, with Mortefi providing additional buffs and Shorekeeper ensuring the team’s survival.
- Carlotta + Zhezhi + Shorekeeper: A Glacio-based team where Shorekeeper’s healing keeps the team alive during prolonged engagements.
- Xiangli Yao + Yinlin + Shorekeeper: An Electro-focused team benefiting from Shorekeeper’s buffs and healing.
Quickswap Teams
For players who prefer dynamic gameplay, quickswap teams allow for rapid character rotations, with Shorekeeper providing consistent support throughout.
- Brant + Changli + Shorekeeper: This setup emphasizes rapid skill usage and elemental reactions, with Shorekeeper maintaining team health.
- Encore + Changli + Shorekeeper: A fusion quickswap team where Shorekeeper’s buffs enhance the overall team performance.
Beginner-Friendly F2P Team
For those starting out or playing free-to-play, Shorekeeper can be paired with readily available characters to form an effective team:
- Rover (Spectro) + Yangyang + Shorekeeper: This team offers a balance of damage and support, with Shorekeeper ensuring the team’s longevity.
Skill Priority – What Should You Level First?
Optimizing Shorekeeper’s skills ensures she performs her support role effectively. Here’s a recommended leveling order:
- Intro Skill (Discernment): This skill provides significant healing and buffs, scaling with Shorekeeper’s HP. Prioritize leveling this to maximize her support capabilities.
- Resonance Liberation (End Loop): Shorekeeper’s ultimate ability offers continuous healing and team-wide buffs. Leveling this skill enhances her overall support effectiveness.
- Resonance Skill (Chaos Theory): While not as critical as the previous two, leveling this skill improves her healing output and damage potential.
- Forte Circuit (Astral Chord): This skill enhances Shorekeeper’s damage output. Level it if you’re looking to increase her personal damage contribution.
- Normal Attack (Origin Calculus): As Shorekeeper’s primary role isn’t dealing damage, this skill can be leveled last.

By focusing on these team compositions and skill priorities, you can maximize Shorekeeper’s potential as a top-tier support in Wuthering Waves.
